Bath time with The Lorax

The Lorax asked me if he could have a bath with me because he was a bit dirty, so I said sure, why not? We are close buddies and do most things together that don’t involve cats anyways. The Lorax is friends with the cats as well, however they each appreciate their own time and space with me individually. The Lorax dove right in to the tub and had a blast swimming, dancing, relaxing, and soaking up the suds! He told me that he definitely prefers having a bath versus getting washed in a washing machine; and to be honest so do I, although both methods work exceptionally well for cleaning fuzzy fur, and beards. Personally I don’t have either, and my body will not even fit in a standard washing machine, but I usually prefer a bath to a shower for many reasons. The cats on the other hand prefer neither because of course they are perfect and just clean themselves with their own tongue and antibacterial saliva. No problem, I’ll teach them how to swim one day and soon we can all share a nice bubble bath…

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jude which is the short form of Judah. I began my journey this year by setting out to travel to rural areas of Quebec and Ontario in Canada, the latter of which I am native to. My goal is to go to different farms and learn the lifestyle. It is still a new excursion for me and I still have a lot to learn, but so far I have visited and worked at a small custom cabin destination in the woods of Quebec, gone camping and tree planting in northern Ontario, and most recently helped out on a tree nursery and mostly self sufficient farm in Quebec. It is now getting colder and the harvest is complete for this year, so I now plan to enjoy the beautiful winter that Canada has to offer by staying cozy in and around Montreal and work on writing. Since I am technically travelling, I do not have a permanent long term home base, so I only have what I can carry with me which of course has to include my two cats. In addition to Muskoka and Cyprus, the cats, I decided that the Lorax would come along and be my travel buddy. Every day is a new adventure with the Lorax, so I will try and keep you up to date as we journey on!
